Control and organisation :
The production units have at their disposal the means of control and organization necessary for the most asserted quality requirements. These technical and organizational means concern the mastery of the processes (electrolytic parameters, kinetic, geometrical,...) and the characteristics of the deposits.

Security :

• Workers safety :

PEM is engaged in employees' surveillance including the calculation of exposure to dangerous products and high medical surveillance as chest X-rays and blood monitoring are performed every year. An individual form of monitoring is issued and transmitted to the occupational physician that will decide whether additional tests should be done.

PEM has established a monitoring of safety data sheets of chemicals. This is an internal software that contains a set of sheets ( about 800) on the chemicals used and is updated regularly. When a new person is hired , she is submitted to the Home protocol is submitted on his first day where the emphasis is on the different security rules to know (for example, access controls , wearing sunglasses in the factory, the locations of emergency exits and procedures in case of fire ... ).

• Building safety

Because of its sensitive activities , including the use of precious materials in the processing, production sites of PEM are closely monitored and controlled. The sites are fully enclosed and have in addition an access control for its employees. Moreover, sites have been recently equipped with a video surveillance system to better monitor the exteriors of buildings. Regarding the fire that is the most important weakness in corporate security for surface treatment, Siaugues site is certified N7 additional to meet the standards Q7 ( fire detection in all buildings ) and Q4 , which ensures that all buildings are equipped with portable fire extinguisher. Checks are conducted every year to ensure good security of buildings and people .
